Hi, I’m Kate
I'm a Holistic Therapist specialising in Reflexology.
I am based in Heaton Moor, I provide mobile treatments at homes and workplaces in the surrounding areas. I also work from the beautiful treatment room within The Heatons Studio in the heart of Heaton Moor. I consider it a huge privilege to support the wellbeing of women and their families from all backgrounds. It's really lovely being able to work in my local community
Prior to qualifying as a Holistic Therapist in 2015, I worked for 15 years within the branch network of a high street bank and saw success in a number of demanding roles. Following the birth of my second child, I decided to re-evaluate my career path and came to the conclusion that it was time to make a change. I had spent the last few years thinking about a career change from the often-stressful environment of working for the bank. I decided that it would be something that I was both passionate about and interested in. I also knew that I wanted to work with people as that was the part of my job in the bank that I loved. I had been interested in the benefits of both Reflexology and Massage from being a teenager and decided to study and become a qualified therapist.
My qualifications
I always strive to further my knowledge and attend workshops and seminars regularly. I have since qualified in Fertility, Pregnancy and Post-natal Reflexology (under Louise Keet at The London School of Reflexology), Reflexology for the Menopause and Mindful Reflexology (under Sally Earlam), Reflexology using Crystals, Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Pregnancy Massage and Indian Head Massage.
I am a full member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists and Association of Reflexologists which ensures high standards of personal development. I am fully insured.
Following the successful completion of both Massage and Reflexology qualifications (VTCT Level 3), I attended an Infant Massage instructors’ course which was accredited by The Royal College of Midwives.
I am also qualified to teach Baby Yoga and led extremely popular local classes for 4 years which were enjoyed by parents and babies alike.
